EFRAG Opens Call for New Members to Join its Financial Reporting Technical Expert Group

EFRAG is calling for candidates to join its Financial Reporting Technical Expert Group (FR TEG), inviting applications from professionals across Europe with diverse technical, professional backgrounds and EEA nationalities.

Application process & timeline

Submissions should include the name, CV, and a motivation letter of the proposed candidate. EFRAG welcomes support letter from the organisation employing the candidate, as well as other support letters. They should be sent by email to nominations@efrag.org and be addressed to Benoît Jaspar, Chair of the Extended FRB EFRAG Administrative Board Nominating Committee. The deadline for submissions is 15 January 2026. EFRAG has provided a standard CV format (Appendix B) to help applicants cover all required information. Use of this format is not mandatory but provides an indication of the elements to be covered.

Interviews will be held online in January and February 2026 and will last 45 to 60 minutes. All candidates will be informed of the outcome within one month of the Financial Reporting Board (FRB)’s decision on the new EFRAG TEG composition.

Appointments and terms

Appointments will begin on 1 April 2026. Terms will last one or two years, ending on 31 March 2027 or 31 March 2028 to maintain staggered rotation. Reappointments may be made for up to six years in total.

Of the 21 current EFRAG FR TEG members, eight will complete their terms in March 2026. Three cannot be reappointed, while five are eligible for reappointment. The EFRAG Administrative Board, supported by the Extended FRB Nominating Committee, will balance continuity with the inclusion of new experience when recommending appointments.

Further details, including eligibility criteria and appendices, are available in EFRAG’s call for tender.
