Valentina Rossi is Head of Group Financial Reporting Management and Tax at Mediobanca (Monte dei Paschi di Siena Group), a publicly listed bank in Italy. She has developed a 28-year career in banking, beginning in investment banking, where she advised large corporate clients across industries on M&A and equity capital markets transactions.
She subsequently contributed to the creation of Mediobanca’s first credit risk management unit before joining the CFO Office in 2009, taking on increasing Group-wide responsibilities in financial reporting, accounting, risk management, and sustainability disclosure. Since 2021, she has been a member of Mediobanca’s Non-Financial Risks Committee.
Valentina has also been a speaker at conferences and industry events in the banking and financial sector.
She graduated with honours in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan.
