Pierre-Henri Damotte is Head of Accounting Public Affairs at Société Générale and has previously led Group Accounting Policies since 1998. In these roles, he has been actively involved in the bank’s contributions to both accounting and sustainability reporting debates.
He is a member of the Accounting Committee of the French Banking Federation and has contributed to the French Accounting Standard Setter (ANC) for over 15 years, serving as member or chair of working groups on financial instruments, consolidation, and presentation of financial statements, including responding to IFRS consultations and issuing new French accounting standards.
Since 2019, he has contributed to the implementation of the European Single Electronic Format at Société Générale and related working groups in France. He has also been a member of EFRAG’s Financial Instruments Working Group since 2009.
