Nicklas Grip is Senior Vice President and a member of the Group Finance management team at Svenska Handelsbanken, Sweden. He heads the Capital Management Department and is responsible for monitoring new accounting standards.
In this role, he is actively involved with the European Banking Federation, serving as Chairman of the Interfederation Group on Fair Value Measurement, and is a member of the technical expert group of the Swedish Financial Reporting Board, chairing working groups on financial instruments, insurance, and liabilities. He also serves on Handelsbanken’s Risk, Capital, and Valuation Committees and is General Manager of the Group’s two insurance captives.
