Workshops: Contribute to the European view on the GHG Protocol’s Actions and Market Instruments Standard for reporting on climate actions and their impacts

Interested in the GHG Protocol’s Actions and Market Instruments (AMI) Standard? EFRAG is gathering feedback on its draft response to the AMI Phase 1 White Paper. Share your input by joining workshops on 7 or 8 May and/or completing the online survey on EFRAG's Draft Comment Letter.

GHG Protocol (GHGP) launched a Request for Information (RFI) to address how companies should account for the real-world impacts of their climate actions (particularly those that fall outside existing (physical) Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions inventories) with feedback open until 31 May 2026.

To help shape a European perspective, EFRAG is collecting input from a wide range of stakeholders: corporates, financial institutions, auditors, standard setters, ESG advisors, and civil society organisations involved in climate reporting and carbon accounting who may be affected by the GHG Protocol’s Actions and Market Instruments Phase 1 White Paper.

The input is gathered through workshops and an online consultation survey on EFRAG's Draft Comment Letter to inform its final response to the GHG Protocol’s RFI.

Take part in EFRAG’s workshops

EFRAG will host two online workshops to gather stakeholder feedback on the GHG Protocol’s AMI Standard and EFRAG's Draft Comment Letter. Participants will benefit from direct dialogue with EFRAG experts and peer organisations.

🗓️ 7 May and 8 May 2026 | 10:00–12:00 CET | Online

(Participants are expected to attend one session only, as the content of the workshops is identical)

Express your interest in participating in EFRAG’s workshops by emailing ghgp@efrag.org by 30 April 2026.

Stakeholders registering their interest will receive a confirmation email with further information about the workshop agenda and logistics. In preparation of the workshops, we encourage participants to read EFRAG’s Draft Comment Letter, the GHG Protocol’s AMI Phase 1 White Paper and RFI Explanatory Note.

Complete the online consultation survey

As previously announced, EFRAG is also seeking input through an online consultation survey. Read our Draft Comment Letter and share your views by 16 May 2026.

Please note: You are encouraged to engage in both the consultation survey and workshops, but you may also participate in either independently. Feedback collected via the consultation survey, alongside insights gathered through the workshops, will inform EFRAG’s final comment letter to the GHG Protocol.
