Update on IFASS meeting in September 2022

​The International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters (IFASS) will meet on 27-28 September 2022 in London and discuss topics related to financial and sustainability reporting.
After several years of virtual meetings, the members of the International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters (IFASS) will meet on 27-28 September 2022 in London. The meeting will be chaired by Chiara del Prete, EFRAG FR TEG Chair and EFRAG Acting SR TEG Chair.
The meeting will cover the following topics related to financial and sustainability reporting:
Day 1 of the meeting:
  • Subsequent measurement of goodwill
  • Post-implementation review of IFRS 9- Classification and Measurement: ESG linked Financial Instruments and FVOCI recycling & impairment
  • How to improve cash-flow reporting
  • Post-implementation review of IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers

Day 2 of the meeting:
  • Jurisdictional perspective on sustainability reporting: climate-related risk
  • Looking ahead – What’s next after climate? – Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD)
  • Panel discussion on Digital Assets
  • Panel discussion on Second Comprehensive Review of IFRS for SMEs
The meeting is for standard setters.

The International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters is a grouping of national accounting standard-setters from around the world, plus other organisations that have a close involvement in corporate reporting.
