SAVE THE DATE | EFRAG, Accountancy Europe, BusinessEurope, EFFAS​ and IASB joint webinar- the IASB's Third Agenda Consultation and EFRAG's Proactive Research Agenda - 9 September

​On Thursday 9 September, from 16:00 to 18:00 (CET), EFRAG, Accountancy Europe, BusinessEurope, EFFAS​ and IASB ​invite stakeholders to participate in a joint outreach event on the IASB's Third Agenda Consultation and EFRAG's Proactive Research Agenda.

The outreach event​ discussions will focus on the following topics:

• Is the overall strategic direction and the overall balance of the IASB's main activities appropriate?
• What new financial reporting issues should be prioritised and added to the IASB's work plan for 2022-2026?
• What research projects should EFRAG include in its proactive agenda - those important for Europe and to generate debate at European and global level?
  

This event will be a public online webinar with eminent speakers (in alphabetical order):

• Javier de Frutos (Chair of the EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysist Societies) Commission on Financial Reporting)
• Chiara Del Prete (EFRAG TEG Chairwoman)
• Gregory Hodgkiss (Member of the BusinessEurope Sounding Board)

• Michael Stewart (Chair of the Accountancy Europe Accounting Working Party)
• Mary Tokar (IASB Board Member)

The audience will be encouraged to participate through polling questions and by submitting questions online to speakers and panellists during the event.
