EFRAG, with the Commissao de Normalizaçao Contabilistica (CNC-Portugal), the Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas (OROC) and the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC)and the IFRS Foundation invites you to a joint outreach event on Tuesday 24 November 2020 (9:00 to 11:00 WET - 10:00 to 12:00 CET) to consider the Portuguese and European Stakeholders’ views on the IASB’s Discussion Paper Business Combinations—Disclosures, Goodwill and Impairment. The IASB DP proposes that a company would have to disclose information about its objectives and targets for an acquisition and, in subsequent periods, information about how that acquisition is performing against those targets.
On Tuesday 24 November 2020 (9:00 to 11:00 WET - 10:00 to 12:00 CET) the joint outreach event will focus on the views of Portuguese stakeholders - notably preparers, and European Stakeholders to discuss information that they consider important in this area.
Audience participation will be possible through polling questions and Q&A sessions.
This event will be a public online webinar with eminent speakers from CNC- Portugal, OCC and OROC, IASB, and EFRAG, and a panel of preparers including the following:
