EFRAG will unveil its Draft Simplified European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) at it next conference on 4 December 2025, marking a major step forward in making sustainability reporting more accessible and proportionate for European companies.
The event "EFRAG unveils Draft Simplified ESRS: A European Milestone for Sustainability Reporting" will bring together leading voices from EFRAG, the European Commission, and the sustainability reporting community to discuss the technical advice behind the new simplified draft standards and their implications for businesses across Europe.
The programme features presentations from EFRAG’s expert teams, the launch of the ESRS Knowledge Hub, and keynote speeches by Maria Luís Albuquerque, European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union, and Patrick de Cambourg, Chair of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board (EFRAG SRB Chair) and the incoming EFRAG SRB Chair.
