Outreach event summary report - 'Better Information on Intangibles: What's next?'

​​EFRAG has issued a summary report of the outreach event 'Better Information on Intangibles: What's next?' held on 30 May 2022. ​​The summary report has been prepared for the convenience of European constituents to summarise the input from the outreach event 'Better Information on Intangibles: What's next?'. The event was held on 30 May 2022. Following a presentation of EFRAG's Discussion Paper Better Information on Intangibles and input received so far, key corporate reporting players, discussed the next steps for achieving better information on intangibles. Panellists for the event included:

  • Andreas Barckow, Chair of the IASB

  • Patrick de Cambourg, Member of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board

  • Sven Gentner, Head of Unit for Corporate reporting, audit and credit rating agencies, DG FISMA, European Commission

  • Linda Mezon-Huter, Chair of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board (AcSB)

  • Annalissa Prencipe, President of the European Accounting Association

During the discussion the panellists provided their views on different approaches for achieving better information on intangibles. The audience also provided their views via comments and questions to the speakers.
