Join the EFRAG symposium on Intangibles and value creation at the EAA congress! - 28 May 9.00 am (Brussels time)
The EFRAG symposium at the EAA congress on Friday 28 May from 9.00 till 10.30 am (Brussels time) will discuss intangibles both from a financial reporting as well as a sustainability reporting perspective:
- How are financial reporting and sustainability reporting linked, and how do both contribute to reporting on value creation?
- What is the delineation between financial reporting and sustainability reporting and how can this be bridged?
- What reporting needs do investors (as well as a wider range of stakeholders) interested in sustainability reporting have and how can these be best met ?
- What information needs should be dealt with in the financial statements or the management commentary and what issues should be considered in other reports or ways of providing information?
- How should the issues related to financial reporting be addressed (e.g., revision of IAS 38 Intangible Assets and/or the requirements related to the management commentary)?
