Join EFRAG's Community supporting the development of draft Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs
EFRAG wishes to create a community of stakeholders that have a direct experience in relation to SMEs and that have an interest to participate in the development of a draft Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSRS), next to the already existing dedicated expert working group which will continue to be in operation.
EFRAG is looking for preparers, preparer organisations, civil society organisations, social partners, banks/investment organisations or other stakeholders, with expected backgrounds including:
- Non-listed SMEs (preparers);
- Large and smaller banks (as users);
- Large companies as non-listed SMEs’ value chain partners (users);
- Accountants involved in non-listed SMEs’ sustainability reporting;
- National or European authorities involved in non-listed SMEs’ sustainability reporting; or
- Civil society organisations and social partners.
Community members will support the identification of relevant and important sustainability matters and disclosures and provide input to the development of the draft VSRS.
They will provide comments on working papers prepared by the EFRAG Secretariat and on tentative positions of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting TEG and EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board. They will also be involved in workshops and other outreach activities, before the issuance of the Exposure Draft as well as during the public consultation.
If you are interested in joining this community supporting the development of the draft VSRS for non-listed SMEs , please submit your application here by 2/01/2023. EFRAG will be organising a workshop for the community members in the second half of January 2023.
