Help Shape Europe’s Voice on Pollution Reporting: Join EFRAG's Workshops
Are you interested in the development of the new GRI drafts on Air Pollution, Soil Pollution, and Critical Incidents? Then make your voice heard by joining EFRAG's next hybrid workshops on 21 & 23 April and contribute to shaping a European perspective on pollution reporting.
Objective of the Workshops & Why Participate
The workshops aim to inform European stakeholders and gather feedback on the three GRI pollution drafts. The discussion will focus on their clarity, applicability and interoperability with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) - particularly the Draft Simplified ESRS E2 Pollution - under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) framework. As a next step, EFRAG will submit a comment letter to GRI setting out its position on the exposure drafts currently under consultation. To inform this position, EFRAG will gather feedback via a public consultation planned to be launched in the second-half of April. This public consultation will be launched alongside the public comment period on the GRI Topic Standard Project for Pollution.
Who Should Participate to the Workshops
- Stakeholders, including companies subject to (or preparing for) CSRD/ESRS reporting, especially those with experience in pollution-related disclosures.
- Participants will benefit from direct dialogue with EFRAG experts and peer organisations.

Participants are expected to attend one session only, as the content of both workshops is identical.
You may join, either online or in person at EFRAG’s offices in Brussels (35 Square de Meeûs, 5th floor).
