EFRAG Update: October Edition Now Available
The October 2025 EFRAG Update is now available. This report summarises the public technical discussions and decisions taken at EFRAG in the past month, open consultations, future events, and vacancies.
This month’s highlights include:
- New Friends of EFRAG: Sphera, Tanso, GreenRouter, Workiva
- Calls for new members to join the EFRAG User Panel (deadline 8 December) and the EFRAG FR TEG (deadline 15 January 2026).
- Final Comment Letter on the Post-implementation Review (‘PIR’) of IFRS 16 Leases.
- Open consultation on the Draft Endorsement Advice on the Amendments to IFRS 19 Subsidiaries without Public Accountability: Disclosures (deadline: 28 November).
- EFRAG hybrid conference on 4 December to unveil simplified draft ESRS (only online registration still possible).
- Workshops on users’ needs for intangibles reporting.
- New multi-language VSME digital template for SMEs sustainability reporting across Europe.
- Highlights from EFRAG’s event "VSME in Action" now available
- Call for applications for senior in kind contributions (without payment to EFRAG) and secondments in sustainability reporting (deadline 30 November).
