EFRAG SRB Releases Statement on Omnibus Proposals

Following the publication of the Omnibus proposals today, the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board (SRB) met officials of the European Commission in the afternoon to exchange views on the CSRD and ESRS related provisions of the proposals. The SRB unanimously expressed its willingness and commitment to participate in the proposed simplification process on the provisions that are crucial to the successful implementation of the relevant, reliable and proportionate sustainability-related data environment needed to meet the sustainable development and sustainable finance objectives of the Union.
