EFRAG seeks companies to engage in transition plan implementation guidance
Upcoming guidance on transition planning
As part of its efforts to facilitate the implementation of ESRS, EFRAG is in the process of preparing guidance to support companies in efficiently disclosing their transition plans in accordance with the adopted ESRS. The upcoming guidance aims to explain the topics to be included in the transition plan and their integration into the sustainability report in line with the requirements of the adopted standards. The main audience of the guidance is companies subject to the CSRD reporting.
To prepare and focus its efforts on this workstream, EFRAG is now seeking participation from a diverse group of companies across Europe, who can provide insights into a variety of practices and challenges related to disclosing transition plans.
Who we are looking for
The target companies should fall within the scope of CSRD reporting. EFRAG aims to engage with 20 to 30 different undertakings, creating a sample that reflects diverse backgrounds in terms of geography, industry, size, sustainability expertise and status of transition plan disclosure. The planned engagements will be conducted as interviews, each lasting between one to two hours, scheduled throughout April and May.
If your entity is interested and available during these specified timelines, please submit your expression of interest through this link. The deadline for expressing interest in this announcement is 23 April 2024.
Due to the large quantity and intended balanced composition of the interviews, we cannot guarantee that every submission will lead to an interview. The meetings will be scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis. We sincerely appreciate all the submissions and look forward to possible engagements.
