EFRAG Reporting Boards - new appointments

After welcoming last month Wolf Klinz as EFRAG FRB Chair and Patrick de Cambourg as EFRAG SRB Chair, EFRAG is pleased to announce further appointment decisions taken by the EFRAG General Assembly on 12 December:

Serge Pattyn former Acting EFRAG FRB Chair is appointed by the EFRAG General Assembly as EFRAG FRB Vice-Chair His mandate started on 12 December 2022 .

Kerstin Lopatta, former Acting EFRAG SRB Chair that was responsible for the completion of the first set of draft ESRS submitted on 22 November to the European Commission, is appointed by the EFRAG General Assembly as EFRAG SRB Vice-Chair. She assumed her position on 12 December 2022.

Following the admission of the Belgian Accounting Standards Board (CNC-CBN) to the membership of the EFRAG Financial Reporting Pillar on 15 November 2022, Sadi Podevijn is appointed as EFRAG FRB member. Her mandate started on 12 December 2022, until 30 April 2024.

The EIB has been admitted as official observer to the EFRAG SRB and EFRAG SR TEG joining the observer mentioned in the CSRD.

EFRAG welcomes these appointments as the knowledge and experience of Serge Pattyn, Kerstin Lopatta, Sadi Podevijn and the EIB will contribute and bring added value from their field of expertise to EFRAG’s financial and sustainability reporting activities.
