EFRAG releases its 2019 Annual Review
In 2019, EFRAG actively served the European public interest by developing and promoting European views in the field of financial and corporate reporting.
For financial reporting, among other topics, 2019 highlights include continued work on IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts; the work on accounting for long-term equity instruments; research projects on intangibles and crypto-assets and liabilities.
Regarding corporate reporting, the European Corporate Reporting Lab @EFRAG launched its first project Climate-related Reporting and managed to issue its report less than a year later. After a public consultation last autumn, the second project of the European Lab will be addressing reporting of non-financial risks and opportunities and linkage to the business model.
