EFRAG is extending the period to answer to its call for tenders for the cost-benefit analysis of the first set of draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards
On 31 March, EFRAG issued an initial call for tenders for assistance in the cost-benefit analysis of the first set of daft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) with a deadline on 28 April. The call was based on the 21 Working Papers prepared by the EFRAG Project Task Force on European Sustainability Reporting Standards (PTF-ESRS).
On 29 April 2022, EFRAG issued the first set of ESRS EDs. for public consultation. These 13 ESRS EDs correspond to the first set of standards required under the proposal for a CSRD and cover environmental, social and governance matters as well as cross-cutting standards.
This second notice is published to allow tenderers more time to consider the effects of the published documents. Tenders should be sent to EFRAG at the following email address: call.for.tender@EFRAG.ORG no later than Friday 27 May 2022. The timelines for the different deliverables under the contract have been adjusted accordingly.
The objective of the contract is to assist EFRAG in the preparation of the cost-benefit analysis, in particular collecting data and evidence and performing preliminary analysis that can be used by EFRAG in preparation of its ex-ante cost-benefit analysis of the first set of draft ESRS described in Section B3 of the enclosed call for tenders. The purpose of the cost-benefit analysis is to understand the impacts of the proposed ESRS and amendments from various stakeholders’ points of view on a systematic basis. This is to enable informed judgements about how to balance the needs of different and possibly competing interests, including costs and benefits, including wider impacts on sustainability matters.
The maximum value of the contract is 400.000 euros (including VAT and expenses).
