EFRAG Endorsement Status Report - Update

The European Union has published in its Official Journal a Commission Regulation endorsing IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements.​

IFRS 18 aims to enhance the usefulness of information presented and disclosed in the financial statements, addressing stakeholder feedback, particularly from users requesting better information about companies’ financial performance. IFRS 18 impacts the presentation of financial information of each entity. It aims to improve the way companies communicate information in their financial statements, providing investors with a better basis for analysing and comparing companies’ performance.

The Standard is required to be applied to annual periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027, with earlier application permitted.
