EFRAG announces the composition of its Pension Plans Advisory Panel

​EFRAG TEG has approved in its February  meeting the composition of the EFRAG Pension Plans Advisory Panel.

​In its February meeting, EFRAG TEG approved the composition of the EFRAG Pension Plans Advisory Panel. EFRAG TEG Vice-Chairman Nicklas Grip will chair the Panel.

The Panel will provide expert advice on EFRAG’s research project to investigate possible improvements to the current requirements in relation to pension plans where the promised benefit is linked to the return on specified assets.

EFRAG's call for candidates resulted in high-quality applications and the Panel has members of different countries and professional backgrounds. All members have profound experience with pension issues and will help ensure that the wider European perspective is reflected in EFRAG’s work on the project.

The European Commission, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and PensionsEurope have been granted observer status.
