Debt or Equity? Programme - 26 November - Brussels

​EFRAG, in collaboration with EFFAS, ABAF-BVFA and the IASB, invites you to the joint outreach event on 26 November 2018 on the IASB's Discussion Paper (DP) 'Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity' (FICE). The pr​o​gr​amme is now available and the prominent ​​​​​panellists ​are ready to share their views.​​

The event will address the IASB's DP on FICE and the full programme is now available for download​. ​During the afternoon, we will hear from Hans Buysse, Chairman ABAF/BVFA, member EFFAS Executive Management Committee and EFRAG Board member and also Uni Choi, IASB Technical Manager and Fred Nieto, IASB Head of Investor Engagement​. Elisa Belgacem from Crédit Agricole CIB, Barbara Cohen from BNP Paribas Asset Management and Selim Gogus, from Credit Suisse will be participating in the user panel discussion.

Andrew Watchman, EFRAG CEO and TEG Chairman will be sharing EFRAG's preliminary position and Serge Pattyn, EFRAG User Panel member will sum up the round table discussion.

The event will take place on Monday, 26 November 2018 from 16:00 to 18:00, followed by networking drinks at the EFRAG offices, Square de Meeûs 35, Brussels. Participation is free of charge. The event will be held in English.
