Deadline Extended for Applications to the EFRAG Financial Reporting Technical Expert Group
EFRAG has extended the deadline for applications to join its Financial Reporting Technical Expert Group (EFRAG FR TEG) to 31 January 2026, providing additional time for interested candidates to apply. Applications are invited from professionals across Europe with diverse technical and professional backgrounds and EEA nationalities who wish to contribute to EFRAG’s financial reporting work.
How to apply
Applications should include the candidate’s name, CV and a motivation letter. Support letters from the candidate’s employing organisation, as well as other supporting letters, are welcome. All submissions should be sent by email to nominations@efrag.org and addressed to Benoît Jaspar, Chair of the Extended FRB EFRAG Administrative Board Nominating Committee, by 31 January. EFRAG has made available a standard CV format (Appendix B) to assist applicants in covering all required information, but its use is optional.
What happens next
Interviews will be conducted online in February 2026 and will last between 45 and 60 minutes. Candidates will be informed of the outcome after the Financial Reporting Board’s decision on the new composition of the EFRAG FR TEG.
Appointments will commence on 1 April 2026. Terms will run for one or two years, ending on 31 March 2027 or 31 March 2028, in line with EFRAG’s staggered rotation policy. Reappointments may be made for a total period of up to six years.
