Apply now to join the European Lab Project Task Force on reporting of non-financial risks and opportunities and linkage to the business model
The second project of the European Corporate Reporting Lab @EFRAG (European Lab) is on reporting of non-financial risks and opportunities and linkage to the business model. This has been decided by the European Lab Steering Group taking into account the results of the public future agenda consultation of the European Lab conducted in the second half of 2019.
The aim of the project is to identify good practices on the reporting of non-financial risks and opportunities and their linkage to the business model from a sustainability perspective and addressing what is commonly known as ESG factors. The project is expected to consider the information needs and expectations of a wide range of users and other stakeholders, the extent to which they are addressed by current reporting practices, and the challenges faced by companies in providing that information. The Project Task Force to be appointed shall be responsible for further scoping and conducting the project, in agreement with and under the supervision of the European Lab Steering Group.
We are looking for candidates with an interest, experience and knowledge on matters related to the reporting on strategy and the business model, risk management, and non-financial risks and opportunities. Appointed members shall be expected to bring to the table practical insights, from either a preparer or user perspective, as required, for reviewing information that is currently reported with a view to identify relevant good reporting practices.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 10 April 2020. Applications, including a CV and motivation letter, should be sent to nominations@efrag.org.
For more information see the call for candidates.
