11 March 2024 EFRAG, IASB and EAA online workshop on IASB ED FICE

​On 11 March 2024, EFRAG will join the IASB and the EAA for a workshop about the IASB’s Exposure Draft FICE. This online workshop will provide an overview of the IASB’s ED FICE (Proposed amendments to IAS 32, IFRS 7 and IAS 1) and an overview of EFRAG’s draft comment letter. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange with the presenters.If you would like to participate, please register here. 

​On 11 March 2024, from 15:00 till 17:00 (CET), stakeholders can join EFRAG, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the European Accounting Association (EAA) for an online workshop on the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2023/5 Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity (FICE).

The purpose of this online workshop is to discuss academic evidence relevant to the Exposure Draft and identify areas where further academic evidence would be helpful. Moderated by Annelies Renders (BI Norwegian Business School), the session will focus on the IASB’s proposals on presentation and disclosure. It will include short presentations by IASB and EFRAG staff and an academic reflection by Tobias Bornemann (Vienna University of Economics and Business) followed by questions and comments from the audience to be addressed by the presenters—IASB member Ann Tarca, IASB technical staff Riana Wiesner and Angie Ah Kun and from EFRAG, EFRAG FR TEG Chair, Sébastien Harushimana and EFRAG Senior Manager, Sapna Heeralall.
