Circular Economy Reporting in Focus: The Draft Simplified ESRS E5

EFRAG is inviting stakeholders to join the online webinar ‘Circular Economy Reporting in Focus: the Draft Simplified ESRS E5’, on 3 February 2026 from 11:00 to 12:30 (CET).
The session will introduce the draft simplified ESRS E5 on Resource Use and Circular Economy and situate it within the broader regulatory and sustainability reporting landscape. It will outline the role of ESRS E5 and reflect on key lessons learned from the first year of its application.
The programme will feature a detailed comparison between ESRS E5, as enacted in 2023, and the draft simplified ESRS E5, highlighting key changes at both the overall standard and individual disclosure-requirement levels.
It will also address interoperability with other circular economy standards. The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.
