Marco holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen. With over 20 years of specialised experience in banking and asset management, he leads Group Accounting and Financial Reporting at DWS Group, overseeing the Annual Report and Financial Statements and providing guidance on regulatory and accounting matters. His expertise encompasses IFRS and the German Commercial Code (HGB), as well as project management, stakeholder engagement, research, and communication. Marco values accuracy, insight, trust, and collaboration, believing that every detail underpins confidence in financial information. He represents the perspectives and information requirements of DWS Group, which manages EUR 1,085 bn of assets as of 31 December 2025, applying his comprehensive technical expertise in accounting and reporting.
