Julia is a German qualified lawyer with particular focus on sustainable finance regulations and sustainability reporting in Allianz SE Group Accounting and Reporting.
As a legal advisor for Allianz Group Accounting and Reporting, she leads sustainability reporting standards topics, conducts impact assessments on sustainability reporting-related matters, and develops Group-wide positions on respective EU regulation and global initiatives, coordinating with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Julia represents Allianz in various ESG-related consultations, out-reach activities, conferences and working groups, on both, European as well as international level. Prior to her previous role, Julia acted as a legal counsel at Allianz Group Legal, legal department of Allianz SE, for legal advice for Allianz SE and (European) Allianz Group companies. She was the main responsible person for advice on the implementation of sustainable finance regulations, such as SFDR, IDD, Taxonomy and CSRD, as well as national ESG-related laws, such as the German Supply Chain Act.
Before joining Allianz, Julia has been working in an international law firm in the field of litigation while at the same time being a member of the ESG litigation task force, analyzing the different shades of climate and ESG litigation.
