Communications Manager
- Location: EFRAG offices, Brussels, Belgium
- Hours: Full-time (38 hrs/week)

Responsibilities of the position
EFRAG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented communications manager to provide support to our communications team. Under the supervision of the EFRAG management team, the communications manager will play a key role in enhancing and reinforcing EFRAG's visibility and awareness among stakeholders through effective communication strategies, contributing to both financial and sustainability reporting activities. This is a challenging, varied and fast-moving job which requires a significant degree of independent working, contact-making and flexibility.
The communications manager will work in coordination with the current communications manager with a focus on our financial and corporate reporting activities.
The role is based in EFRAG’s office in Brussels, and it requires working at least two days in the office.
Main Tasks
- Contribute to and help guide communication strategies aligned with the organisation’s objectives
- Ensure effective dissemination of communication materials to maximise visibility and impact
- Developing written deliverables (e.g. newsletters, news items, press releases), with an emphasis on high quality editorial work, visual presentation and good design skills in line with our branding
- Supporting the development of web content as well as monitor and implement technical updates
- Managing social media accounts, developing engaging content & develop content strategies that maximise reach on our social media accounts on LinkedIn, X and YouTube
- Supporting communications to enhance interest and participation around EFRAG activities and events
Profile & Skills
You must have:
- EEA nationality and be based in Brussels during the time of your contract
- Relevant knowledge and experience in Communication (i.e. journalism, media studies, marketing, communications
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and strong editing, proof-reading and graphical skills; additional languages will be a considered a plus (French is welcome)
- Comprehensive knowledge of website management and communication tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva)
- Strong social media and a digital campaigning skills
- Ability to manage a complex workload and to plan and prioritise
- Team spirit and the ability to work with a very diverse international team
