Communications Intern

  • Location: EFRAG offices, Brussels, Belgium (presence in the office required)

  • Period: 6-month term

  • Hours: Full-time (38 hrs/week)

  • Allowance: Contribution to living costs, meal tickets, and transport allowance

Responsibilities of the position:

EFRAG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistant Intern to support the Communications team in two key areas: visual content creation (graphic design and video editing) and digital communications (website management and analytics). Under the guidance of EFRAG's Communications Managers, the intern will contribute to strengthening EFRAG's visibility and stakeholder engagement across both financial and sustainability reporting activities. Professionalism, reliability and a proactive attitude are expected throughout the internship.

Main Tasks:

  • Design graphics, visual assets and videos in line with EFRAG's branding and visual identity.
  • Edit and produce video content for EFRAG's communication channels and events.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of EFRAG's website.
  • Monitor and analyse communication performance, including media coverage, campaign results, website traffic (Google Analytics) and social media metrics.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of EFRAG's in-person, online and hybrid events, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Requisites:

  • You must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate with a degree in communications, graphic design or a relevant field - candidates that are no longer enrolled in university can expect an internship stipend (Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle under Belgian Law.

  • You must have European Economic Area nationality and be based in Brussels during the time of your internship.

Skills:

  • Skilled in website content management (Drupal a plus)

  • Proficient in visual and video content creation

  • Strong command of design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) & MS Office

  • Detail-oriented, well-organised, and creatively driven

  • Excellent written and verbal English; French a bonus

  • Independent, proactive, and clear communicator with good time management
