​Eric Duvaud, EY partner, is the founder of the EY Climate Change and Sustainability practice in France. He has been steadily developing these services for 25 years, first with Arthur Andersen and since 2002 with Ernst & Young (EY). He has been leading the non-financial reporting and verification solution for EY globally as well as major advisory engagements relating to decarbonation and sustainable long-term value creation for global companies gathering a deep multi sector knowledge and experience. He has also provided sustainability assurance over the last 10 years for numerous global companies.

He was deeply involved in the French “Grenelle de l’Environnement” (2008-12), contributing to the non-financial reporting regulation (NRE, Grenelle II, art 225, art 173). He contributed to the non-financial assurance professional practice in 2012 (Art 225) and in 2017 (NFR Directive transposition) as Member of the CNCC Sustainability commission. He is member of the Accountancy Europe working group on Sustainable Finance as well as of the MEDEF Sustainability working group (French Business Association). He considers non-financial reporting as key to deliver the transition towards a sustainable economy.

Eric is a French/German national, based in Paris, married with five children.
