12/07/2023 - EFRAG extends the deadline to respond to its call for candidates for its Sustainability Reporting Financial Institutions Advisory Panels to 15 September 2023

​EFRAG published a call for candidates for its SR FI Advisory Panels (for banking, capital markets and insurance) on 19 June 2023. To allow more time for stakeholders to state their interest the deadline has been extended to 15 September 2023 (previously 31 July 2023).


​On 19 June 2023, EFRAG published a call for candidates for its Sustainability Reporting Financial Institutions Advisory Panels. To allow more time for stakeholders to state their interest during the holiday period, the deadline has been extended from 31 July 2023 to 15 September 2023.

EFRAG is setting up three advisory panels (SR Banking Advisory Panel; SR Capital Markets Advisory Panel and SR Insurance Advisory Panel) to provide views and technical inputs to EFRAG SR TEG on the content of such draft sector-specific standards. These advisory panels will commence work by providing value chain guidance for these sectors based on the requirements in the sector-agnostic ESRS as published by the European Commission on 9 June 2023 with further changes still possible.

These advisory panels are expected to meet at least six times a year (including twice in-person), and to start its activities in September 2023.

The role, competencies, composition, and modus operandi of the EFRAG FI Advisory Panels are further described in the Terms of Reference (BankingCapital Markets and Insurance).

 by close of business on Friday, 15 September 2023. Please include a CV (to be uploaded as an attachment to the form) and, if applicable, a motivation letter and  support letters from organisation(s).

All candidates will be informed about their appointment or the outcome of their application within one month after EFRAG has made its decision.
