12/12/2022 - Join EFRAG's Community supporting the development of draft ESRS for listed SMEs

​EFRAG wishes to create a community of stakeholders that have a direct experience in relation to SMEs and that have an interest to participate in the development of draft European Sustainability Reporting Standard for listed SMEs, next to the already existing dedicated expert working group which will continue to be in operation.

EFRAG is looking for preparers, preparer organisations, civil society organisations including social partners, banks/investment organisations, captive insurers or other stakeholders, with expected backgrounds including:

·       Listed SMEs, i.e., SMEs whose securities are listed on regulated markets (preparers);
·       Large and smaller banks / investors (as users);
·       Large companies as SMEs’ value chain partners (as users);
·       Accountants involved in listed SMEs’ sustainability reporting;
·       National or European authorities involved in listed SMEs’ sustainability reporting;
·       Civil society organisations including social partners.

Community members will support the identification of relevant and important sustainability matters and disclosures and provide input to the development of draft standard.
They will provide comments on working papers prepared by the EFRAG Secretariat and on tentative positions of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting TEG and EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board. They will also be involved in workshops and other outreach activities, before the issuance of the Exposure Draft as well as during the public consultation.
