Introduction
As described elsewhere, EFRAG is tasked to develop a set of sector-specific draft ESRS over multiple years. On this page, stakeholders can find information related to the development of ESRS for Agriculture, Farming and Fishing sector.
About the sector
The sector standards for Agriculture, Farming and Fishing cover:
- Agriculture and Farming;
- Fishing.
The subsectors covered for each of these are as follows:
Agriculture and Farming
- Growing of non-perennial and perennial crops (cereals, rice, leguminous,vegetables, sugar canes, grapes, tropical and subtropical fruits, oleaginous fruits);
- Plant propagation;
- Animal production;
- Mixed farming.
Fishing
- Freshwater fishing and aquaculture;
- Aquaculture;
- Marine aquaculture;
- Support activities for fishing and aquaculture.
