Andreas Thiele

​Since 2019, Andreas Thiele is the Head of the Group Accounting Policy Department at Allianz SE where he has worked since 2016. Andreas started his professional career in 2005 as an external auditor in the insurance department of KPMG Munich. During this period he qualified as a German chartered accountant. Andreas graduated from Humboldt University in Berlin in business administration with a focus on accounting and taxation. Since 2019, Andreas is a member of the IFRS Technical Committee of the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (ASCG), the national standard setter in the area of group financial reporting in Germany.
