Miroslav Petkov is a Director in S&P Global’s Financial Services Ratings Group, based in London. He is Head of Financial Services Environmental and Climate Risk Research. He has authored several S&P articles on the impact of climate change and natural catastrophes on the rating profiles of financial services and corporates. He contributed to the development of S&P Green Evaluation, leading the development of the approach for adaptation projects.
Also, he is Head of the EMEA ERM team, which is responsible for reviewing insurers’ economic capital models and enterprise risk management frameworks.
Previously, he worked in actuarial roles for Munich Re and Tillinghast – Towers Perrin
He is a qualified UK actuary and has MSc in Mathematics.
