Albert Hasselmeyer is the Chief Accounting Officer of BASF SE, located in Ludwigshafen, Germany. His responsibilities include the consolidated financial statements and the integrated annual report, which outlines the Group’s economic, environmental and social performance. BASF is a global chemical company with the corporate purpose to create chemistry for a sustainable future.
Albert Hasselmeyer has headed several reporting projects, including the implementation of IFRS and the E.U.’s CSR reporting requirements. He is a member of the administrative council of the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (DRSC) and the ERT Expert Group on Sustainable Finance. He holds an MBA from Mannheim University.
