EFRAG The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group is a private sector body established by the European organisations prominent in the capital markets and with a special interest in financial reporting in Europe, namely the users, the preparers, the accountancy profession and supported by the national standard setters. Its main objectives are to give a pro-active contribution to the work of the IASB and to advise the European Commission on the technical assessment of the IASB standards and interpretations for application in Europe.

 

We are looking for:

IFRS Project Managers

 

 

IFRS Project Managers (m/f)

38 hrs/week

The role involves both pro-active and reactive work in the development of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for use in Europe.

The Project Manager works with the Technical Director and the team of Project Managers in preparing papers for discussion by EFRAG’s Technical Expert Group, in responding to proposed IFRS and IFRIC interpretations, as well as preparing papers for discussion with EFRAG TEG and IASB in connection with possible future standards to be developed by the IASB.

 

The successful candidates will have a good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and will work on different projects. They should ideally have experience of technical accounting work or standard setting in Europe and have a good understanding of relevant differences between accounting thought in Europe and the thinking of the IASB/FASB. A good knowledge of English is essential. The competitive and comprehensive salary package will reflect the particular experience.
