27/06/2023 - Commissioner McGuinness to address the EFRAG SRB on draft delegated act first set of ESRS and EFRAG’s work on 6 July 2023
Commissioner McGuinness will address the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board on 6 July from 14.30 to 15.30 on the draft delegated act for the first set of ESRS and the EFRAG sustainability reporting work.

On 22 November 2022, EFRAG as technical advisor to the European Commission under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) submitted to the European Commission the first set of sector-agnostic draft standards comprising 12 draft ESRS. On 9 June 2023, the European Commission has published a draft Delegated Act of these ESRS for a four-week period of public feedback.
In March 2023, EFRAG was requested by Commissioner McGuinness to put the emphasis on implementation guidance on the first set of ESRS. EFRAG is currently developing the drafts of the first deliverables.
Commissioner McGuinness will address the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board on EFRAG's sustainability reporting work and interact with the members in a special online public meeting on Thursday 6 July from 14.30 to 15.30.
