19/12/2018 - European Reporting Lab@EFRAG seeks members

Call for candidates launched for members of the new Project Task Force on Climate-related Reporting. EFRAG is also gathering expressions of interest from those wishing to participate in future European Reporting Lab@EFRAG events.

The European Reporting Lab@EFRAG's first project will be on climate-related reporting, consistent with the European Commission's (EC) Action Plan Financing Sustainable Growth

The Task Force will assess the current state of play for climate-related reporting by European companies and assess the current and potential use of climate-related information by investors and other users. The primary focus will be on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures' (TCFD) recommendations with consideration of other reporting frameworks as appropriate, while also taking account of the EC’s non-binding guidelines on non-financial reporting.

The European Reporting Lab@EFRAG is looking for candidates with practical experience, expertise and knowledge of climate-related reporting from companies of different sizes that engage in climate-related reporting, users (analysts and investors), civil society, accountancy profession and other relevant stakeholders.

Those interested in participating in outreach events on climate-related reporting are also invited to express their interest.

The first meeting of the European Lab Project Task Force on Climate-related Reporting will be held on 26 February 2019.

The deadline for applications is 26 January 2019.
