Isabelle Grauer-Gaynor has been appointed EFRAG TEG member from 1 April 2019.
Isabelle is a Director within Mazars' Financial Reporting Support team. She co-coordinates Mazars' international network of IFRS experts as well as Mazars' monthly newsletter and other publications. She is part of the team who regularly liaises with the IASB, EFRAG and ESMA and primarily works on issues relating to presentation and disclosure of financial communication, conceptual framework, leases and rate-regulated activities.
Prior to joining Mazars, Isabelle worked 6 years as the ANC's IFRS Technical Director, time during which, on behalf of the ANC's Chairman, she attended EFRAG TEG's monthly meetings.
Her initial work experience amounted to 15 years with PwC in France where, after starting as an auditor, she worked for five years, of which two in Germany, on French and international financial due diligence assignments within the Transaction Services Group followed by three years during which she was in charge of the French firm's IFRS capacity building in view of IFRS becoming mandatory in 2005. After that, as part of the Audit Consulting Services Team, she coordinated, amongst other things, the French firm's monthly publication on IFRS and the organisation of its annual IFRS conference.
